OpenCamp 2010 was a rockin' good time but there is no OpenCamp being held in 2011. Keep your eyes open here for 2012!

Jennifer Conley

Jennifer Conley is the co-founder of ILiveinDallas.com, a website featuring art, advocacy and cultural events. She has a strong passion for the online industry and tech community, having been involved with local Meetup groups and national tech camps for the past 2 years. She is currently freelancing as a Project Manager and Web Architect, utilizing Drupal, WordPress, and custom web app projects.

Scott Ellis

Scott Ellis: Proprietor of vsellis.com, contributor to onemansblog.com, web guy for geekbeat.tv & webbeat.tv, co-organizer of OpenCamp, mobile strategy consultant and all around tech dude. Avid hiker, wine snob, guitar player, scuba diver, traveler, photographer and sports fan. You can find Scott anywhere online by looking for “vsellis” or become friends on twitter @vsellis.

Matthew McGarity

Matthew McGarity began blogging in 2003 in an effort to entertain his friends and chronicle their many adventures together. These stories have been collected on his website, an ongoing, ever-updated, never-finished autobiography powered by WordPress and a custom theme. His nickname “Spamboy” comes from a now-24-year-old can of Spam currently entombed in a time capsule. Matthew lives in McKinney, TX with his wife Jennifer and baby son Zachary. During the day, he is a mild-mannered business analyst for a Fortune 30 Company, while at night he strives to become a WordPress rock star (when he’s not changing diapers, training for marathons, or debugging this website).

Zig Baird

Michael Baird, also known as "Zig", has been a jack-of-all-trades. After college, Zig attended the firefighter academy and went to become an EMT and a Paramedic. After 10 years in the Emergency Medical Services field, he turned back to his love of technology. He is currently a Senior Market Engineer for a software development company. In his spare time, he keeps active as an aspiring blogger, photographer, web designer, poker player, husband and dad.

David Hahn

Co-owner of Tarakan Design, a Dallas-area Drupal development company specializing in building online communities and content management systems for small businesses and organizations. A leader and organizer of the Dallas Drupal Users Group and DrupalCamp Dallas 2009.

Mark Ramsey

Mark is a plate spinner at Hype Anvil, a small business digital marketing firm. Mark is also the co-host of Pigskin Radio, a Fantasy Football and Dallas Cowboys fan podcast and is currently beta testing The Tech Tards Show. Mark grew up in the Dallas area. In 1994, he started MasterNET, a web hosting company using ISDN lines and a primitive Linux server. In 1998, he moved to Austin and joined the Luminex Corporation, a biotechnology startup.

Sam Wettling

In 1980, Sam's parents came home with their first computer, an Apple II+. Even at the tender age of three, he knew he was hooked and has been working with computers ever since. After some years of doing web projects with healthy budgets, Sam started his own business Launch Media Interactive and quickly found that open source applications were precisely what his clients needed to achieve great and cost-effective results. Sam is thrilled to be a part of OpenCamp because businesses deserve developers and designers that are going to apply the right technology to the job, not just give their clients only what they know. Having a place to learn about so many great open source products will do nothing but strengthen our community and make us even better at what we do.

Shawn Weisfeld

Shawn is a Staff Developer at a Fortune 100 company, currently located at Dallas, TX facility. There he specializes in intranet & smart client development for internal line of business applications. Besides his day job, Shawn also is an Adjunct Professor at The Florida Institute of Technology. He also does freelance software development work for local small businesses and training. In his free time he volunteers with INETA NorAm and is a member of the Board of Directors and Mentor for North Texas. Shawn was awarded the Microsoft C# Most Valuable Professional award for 2007 - 2010. Shawn is an avid technology presenter and since July of 2005 Shawn has presented at many user group events, and even got to speak at the launch of Visual Studio.

Teresa Burger

Teresa is passionate about building great user experiences for business applications, and believes that relationship starts at the UI. This has led to a strong foundation in Business ERP Development and a recent love for everything Silverlight. Her prior work with blind and visually impaired users sparked her passion for true usability. When she and her husband are not writing code, they can be found at any number of local user groups. Teresa graduated from Southern Oregon University with a degree in Computer Programming and Software Engineering and is currently a Senior Developer with woot.com.
