Session: CiviCRM for Non-Profits and Small Businesses [Drupal Track, Intermediate Level]

In this session, Peter will provide a general overview of CiviCRM and its implementation on a Drupal website. CiviCRM is a free, libre and open source software constituent relationship management solution. CiviCRM is web-based, internationalized, and designed specifically to meet the needs of advocacy, non-profit and non-governmental groups. It's equally usable for small businesses with similar needs. You will learn details of modules, functionality, extensibility, and out-of-the-box configuration. Focus is on getting the most functionality without lots of investment.

About Peter Petrik

Peter Petrik is an entrepreneur, business proprietor, and a frequent consultant to small business owners and non-profits. Combining practical experiences in business and technology, Peter works on strategy and implementation of open-source solutions with small businesses and non-profit organizations. Peter regularly shares his knowledge and expertise as a School of Management professor at the University of Texas at Dallas. He also consistently volunteers his time and efforts with local and national non-profit groups and serves as the founding board member of the Dallas Afterschool Network.
